Festive Spiced Red Wine Sangria with Cranberries

Just before serving, add the well-chilled sparkling water or lemonade to the sangria. This final addition lightens the drink, adds effervescence, and brings a refreshing contrast to the warm spice notes. Stir gently to preserve the bubbles.
